Artistes & Lyrics monetization program enables artistes to place value on their songs on our website. Prices range from $ 0.99 – 20 based on what an artist feels are the worth of the song(s). Artistes can also choose not to monetize their songs. For artistes, who did not place value on their songs, listeners can give Stars to support their works. Start points range from 01 - 20. The higher the number of Stars the higher the amount. The value of our highest Star is $5. Artistes & Lyrics intends to share revenue from purchase of Stars with applicable Artiste(s).

Artistes & Lyrics also has point system to support artistes whose works have maintained a high level of popularity and highest value to our website based on number of promotions, streams, downloads, comments, likes etc. Various factors are also considered to ascertain the genuineness of traffic sources to determine artistes’ rewards. Artistes will be notified whenever they reach Artistes & Lyrics reward threshold and will be added to our Hall of Fame.

Listeners are also rewarded under our program. Artistes & Lyrics holds the listeners, website users and fans in high esteem by creating an avenue to be rewarded for their support to their various singers. Listeners must create an account on our website to have access to our reward system. Users / listeners activities are calculated based on number of streams, downloads, likes, comments and sharing of songs. Reward systems for users are categorized as bronze, silver, and gold. Users will be notified whenever they reach Artistes & Lyrics reward threshold and will be rewarded with Artistes & Lyrics honorarium badge and customized souvenirs.

If you choose to purchase or use Artistes & Lyrics Stars, these Terms apply to you. These Terms may change from time to time. Artistes & Lyrics will notify you of any significant changes by email, but we also recommend you review this page periodically to make sure you are aware of the latest Terms.

The Program is open to all Artistes on the Artistes & Lyrics Service and Platform, as determined by us at our discretion. For this reason, listeners, users, and fans will be able to buy Stars for every artistes or project that they wish to support.

You can purchase Stars if you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), or if you are at least 13 years of age and are acting under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms. Using Stars to support an Artiste’s project does not give you any rights with respect to that project.

Artistes & Lyrics intends to share the revenue generated from the sale of Stars and direct purchase of songs with applicable Artistes and / or their representatives under the terms of agreements that Artistes & Lyrics has entered with those Artistes and / or their representatives. Artistes & Lyrics may retain a share of this revenue for itself and may also be required to share revenue with certain third-party platform providers under the terms of agreements with those third-party platform providers. For this reason, Artistes & Lyrics cannot guarantee that the money you spend on Stars or direct purchase will be shared exclusively with the specific Artiste(s) whose projects you choose to support using your Stars or direct purchase.

 Artistes & Lyrics may change or withdraw from the program at any time at our sole discretion, and subject to applicable law, we will not be obligated to refund the value of any Stars or revenue from direct purchase, or otherwise be liable to you in any way if we do so. Please bear this in mind when deciding whether to purchase Stars, or how many Stars you wish to purchase at any given time. We may also introduce a new monetization policy or discontinue the sales of Stars or change the price of Stars or our direct purchase at any time. If this change happens, this will not affect any Stars or direct purchase you have already made.

The price of Stars will be provided at the time of purchase while the value of direct purchase is placed under the profile of the singer or song. All charges and payments for Stars will be made in the currency specified at the time of purchase. Currency exchange settlements, foreign transaction fees and payment channel fees, if any, are based on your agreement with the applicable payment provider.

All sales of Stars and direct purchase are final. They are non-refundable, except as required by applicable law. Stars are available to be used as soon as your payment is processed, and by purchasing Stars, you agree that you will waive any statutory right you may have to change your mind about your purchase, or to cancel your purchase within any applicable cooling off period.

The associated value of the Stars that you purchase will be credited to your Artistes & Lyrics account. If you choose to support a project using your Star(s), the associated value of the Star(s) will be deducted from your Artistes & Lyrics account. This deduction is final, and you will not be entitled to reverse or cancel your support, or claim any refund or credit, for example, if you choose to delete any post featuring your Star on any third-party platform.

If any Stars are subject to sales tax in your jurisdiction and you have not paid the applicable sales tax to us when you purchase your Stars, then you will be responsible for the payment of the applicable sales tax and any related penalties or interest to the relevant tax authority. 

Buying Stars does not constitute property and has no monetary value. Stars are not currency, and do not constitute cash or cash equivalent. Stars cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods or services. Stars cannot be transferred to or exchanged with other users, and other than any Stars designed for social sharing via third party platforms, cannot be used outside of the Artistes & Lyrics Service or Platform.

Purchase and use of Stars requires you to have an Artistes & Lyrics account. If you delete your account for any reason, if you permanently lose access to your account, or if your account is terminated pursuant to the Artistes & Lyrics Terms of Service, you will not be able to purchase Stars and you will lose access to any Stars you may already have purchased. We will not be liable for any refunds in respect of any unused Stars in these cases.

 Without limiting any of our other rights, we may prevent you from purchasing or using Stars if you breach any of these Terms or breach any provision of the Artistes & Lyrics Terms of Service.

These Terms govern your purchase and use of Stars and are supplemental to the Artistes & Lyrics Terms of Service and other terms, conditions and policies governing your use of the Artistes & Lyrics Service or Platform. Your purchase of Stars may also be subject to additional third-party terms, for example relating to in-app purchases, and you are solely responsible for ensuring that you read, understand, and comply with applicable third-party terms. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Artistes & Lyrics Terms of Service, these Terms will govern solely with respect to the Program, and solely to the extent of that conflict.
